About Me

Raising the standard of women’s pelvic health through specialist care and evidence-based practice

Meet Melissa

I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist who qualified in 2008, specialising in women’s pelvic health and advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I support women at all life stages, from pregnancy and postnatal recovery through to menopause, with conditions including pelvic organ prolapse, bladder and bowel symptoms, pelvic pain, and endometriosis. I work with women from all activity and fitness backgrounds. This may mean improving confidence with everyday activities such as lifting, walking, or returning to work without symptoms, or supporting a safe return to training, running, or specific sporting goals. Exercise plays a significant role in my own life, with a particular interest in strength training and running. This informs my clinical approach and helps me support women to move and progress safely at every stage. As a mum who has experienced both a C-section and a vaginal birth, I bring lived experience alongside clinical expertise, shaping a compassionate and practical approach to care. I use gold-standard assessment and treatment techniques alongside cutting-edge medical technology to deliver evidence-based, personalised care. My focus is on helping women understand their bodies, rebuild trust in movement, and move forward with confidence. Pelvic health can be difficult to talk about. I offer confidential, supportive care at your pace.
